b. Tuition rates are determined by guardians/students, and Best Tutor does not control or guarantee the quality of services provided by users.

c. Best Tutor facilitates the matching of tutors with students but does not assume responsibility for the performance or conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

Dispute Resolution:

a. Users acknowledge that Best Tutor is an online tutoring matching marketplace designed to help users find verified tutors and tuition opportunities.

b. Best Tutor will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from tuition engagements between tutors and guardians/students.

c. Users agree to use the platform at their own risk and understand that Best Tutor does not intervene in disputes between users.

c. By submitting an offer, you agree to abide by the conditions outlined in the service request, provided they are not in violation of our agreement or unlawful.

Qualification Verification:

a. Tutors are required to provide proof or disclose their qualification details to the reasonable satisfaction of the student or guardian before entering into a tuition engagement.

b. You may be asked to provide qualification details at any point during the engagement, and you must comply with such requests.

No Guarantee of Placement or Fees:

a. Best Tutor does not guarantee the placement of a tutor for a student or determine any tuition fees on behalf of tutors or students.

b. While we strive to verify all tuitions posted on our site to the best of our knowledge, we are not responsible if the student or guardian fails to disclose relevant information beforehand.

Payment Processing:

a. We encourage tutors to utilize our online payment gateway to pay their platform charges. This system is designed to be safe and secure for all parties involved.

Professional Conduct:

a. Tutors are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting a teacher or coach in a tutor-student relationship.

b. Behaviors should align with commonly accepted standards of professionalism and respect.

Platform Charges and Return Policy for Tutors

At Best Tutor, we aim to provide a transparent and fair system for our tutors regarding platform charges and refunds. Below are the details of our platform charges, payment collection process, and return policy for tutors.

Platform Charges:

a. Initial Account Creation: There is no charge for creating a tutor account initially.

b. Verification Charge: Tutors are required to pay a one-time BDT 500 verification charge for the verification process. If a tutor changes their provided address after verification, they need to pay only the delivery charge for the address verification letter.

c. Platform Charge: After confirming a tuition job, tutors must pay our platform charge within seven days. The platform charge is a percentage of the payment received for the tuition job, varying based on the type of tuition.

Payment Collection Process:

a. For online tutoring, Best Tutor collects the tuition job's full salary from the guardian/student in advance on behalf of the tutor.

b. After the first tutoring month, tutors will receive their payment after deducting the platform charge.

c. Subsequent months' payments are made directly from the guardian/student to the tutor within the 1-10 days of the respective month.

Return Policy:

a. Refund Eligibility: Tutors are eligible for a refund of the platform charge if they lose a tuition job with a valid reason.

b. Refund Calculation: The refund amount is calculated based on the tuition duration and the platform charge percentage.

c. Notification Requirement: Tutors must inform Best Tutor within 48 hours of discontinuing a tuition job to be eligible for a refund.

d. Investigation and Decision: Our investigation team will analyze the discontinuation reason. If the reason is found to be valid and not due to the tutor's error, the refund will be processed.

e. Fee Adjustment: Tutors have the opportunity to review and accept the fees charged for the discontinuation before the refund is processed.

f. Changes to Platform Charges: Best Tutor reserves the right to adjust platform charges or institute new fees with prior notice posted on the site.

Guardians/Students (Requesting Service): As a guardian/student seeking services on Best Tutor, you must ensure you are legally eligible to request the services you post on the site. Your posted requests must include a clear description and all terms of service on the posting page, limited to text descriptions and relevant content. All requests must be posted in an appropriate category.

Before accepting any services from Best Tutor, you must agree to the following terms:

Best Tutor Liability: Best Tutor will not be liable for any consequences resulting from anti-social activities by hired tutors, including but not limited to theft, threats, damages, or harassment. While we verify a tutor’s profile for data authenticity, guardians/students may request photocopies of the tutor's educational qualification document, NID, Passport, Birth Certificate or any other documents and verify by own responsibility which will be held by the guardian/student for the duration of the tuition.
Behavioral Issues: Best Tutor will not be responsible for any behavioral problems exhibited by hired tutors.
Tuition Rights: The continuation or discontinuation of tuition rights is solely at the discretion of hired tutors, and Best Tutor does not have any involvement or authority in this matter.
Free Registration: Registering as a guardian/student and posting requests on Best Tutor is free of charge.
Detailed Requests: When posting a tutor request, provide as many details as possible to attract better responses from tutors.
Verification Process: Before your tutor request goes live on our job board, our educational consultant will verify it over the phone for accuracy.
No Grade Guarantees: Tutors cannot guarantee specific grades, and therefore, achieving certain grades cannot be grounds for demanding refunds from tutors.
Dispute Resolution: Best Tutor is not involved in interactions between tutors and students and is not liable for disputes or disagreements. However, we are available to provide feedback and suggestions to resolve issues amicably.
Student Conduct: Students are expected to conduct themselves in a student-like manner, adhering to expected standards of behavior in the education stream.
Care and Caution: Students should exercise care and make informed decisions before accepting assignments to avoid any negative consequences. Best Tutor is not responsible for unforeseen events, including bodily injury or harassment.
Hiring from Abroad: Hiring tutors from abroad is only available to guardians/students with local relatives in Bangladesh. Without a local relative, one is not eligible to use our service from abroad.
